        第五届中国酒城国际心血管医学学术会议（CWICC2019）是在学校举办的“中美酒城心血管论坛”、“中国酒城国际心血管医学高端论坛”、“2017年中国酒城国际心血管医学学术会议”和“2018年第四届中国酒城国际心血管医学学术会议”的基础上，由西南医科大学主办，心血管医学研究所、医学电生理学教育部和四川省重点实验室、西南医科大学附属医院、附属中医医院共同承办，中国生理学会循环生理专业委员会以及泸州医药产业园区协办的国际心血管医学学术会议。本次会议设立院士报告专场、心律失常及抗心律失常药物新分类专场、血管重塑及稳态调控专场、心血管离子通道及调控专场、心血管稳态调控、下肢静脉疾病治疗专场和手术演示、青年报告等分场。来自美国、英国、新加坡、德国、加拿大、日本、法国及国内著名学者将就以上前沿问题进行精彩的学术报告与交流。此次会议为与会者提供了解新进展和建立广泛合作的机会，以此共商心血管病预防、诊断和治疗的发展大计。

June is the best season in Luzhou, where breezing air can even make you feel drunk. Welcome to taste the flavor of Chinese wine in Luzhou. The 5th China Wine City International Cardiovascular Congress 2019, CWICC2019 is scheduled to be held from June 7-10, 2019 at Southwest Medical University in Luzhou, a beautiful wine city of China. On behalf of organizer, I would like to extend a warm welcome and sincere greeting to all experts and scholars coming from afar! I would also like to express my heartfelt thanks to all colleagues who have given strong support to the conference.

Organized by Southwest Medical University, and co-sponsored by Institute of Cardiovascular Research, the affiliated Hospital of Southwest Medical University, the affiliated Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital of Southwest Medical University, and Circulation Physiology Committee of Chinese Physiological Society. The 5^th China Wine City International Cardiovascular Congress is another such high-caliber international cardiovascular medicine conferences following the successfully held China Wine City Sino-American Cardiovascular Forum, the 5^th International Ion Channel Conference, China Wine City International Cardiovascular Medicine Forum, and China Wine City International Cardiovascular Medicine Congress 2017 and 2018.

This conference includes sub-sections of landmark academician in basic cardiovascular research, new classifications of arrhythmic and antiarrhythmic drugs, vascular remodeling and steady-state regulation, cardiovascular ion channels and regulation, cardiovascular steady-state regulation, heart failure/hypertension, coronary artery disease, clinical electrophysiology and pace-making, therapy for lower extremity venous disease, surgical technique demonstration, and etc. During the conference, world renowned scientists from USA, Britain, Singapore, Netherland, Canada, and local will share their research discoveries, exchange ideas, and discuss challenges ahead in every aspect of cardiology.
